This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are looking for an active, ready-to-have-fun respite companion with good redirection skills to spend time with a sweet, playful, and curious child. This position would be ideal for someone with free time in the afternoons and occasional weekends who wants to make a positive impact on a child's life.

Role Focus:
• Taking him out on activities (children’s museum, local play practice, or anything fun!)
• Supporting safety, transitions, and positive redirection
• Being an adaptive, laid-back encourager

About Him:
• Loves music and dancing
• Loves The Hulk!
• Big on imaginary play with his animals
• Enjoys You Tube 
• Loves swimming
• Big on being with people!

What Works Best:
• Calm, patient approach
• Clear expectations while modeling flexibility
• Someone who enjoys staying active and engaged

Ideal Candidate:
• Flexible, patient, and dependable
• Strong communicator
• Fun, active, and creative
• Experience with children with special needs is a plus
