Description & Requirements

If you answered yes to the above, we would love to hear from you! Position is for a young boy. More details about the kiddo will be discussed during the interview.

Wage:
$14.13 per hour
$207.45 per day shift
Schedule and Location:
• 10 hours a week
• 2 days a month
• Family is flexible and able to work around provider schedules
• Care will take place in the family’s home to start
Responsibilities:
• Meal prep
• Assistance with feeding
• Playtime and interactive engagement (a major part of the role)
• Supervision for safety (no elopement concern inside the home or yard)
Member Likes:
• Very social and loves people
• Animals (his biggest obsession!)
• Legos and trains
• Playing outside
• Pretend play
• Autism diagnosis but not severe; sweet, gentle, and well-behaved
• Speech delay but can be understood
Triggers:
• No known triggers
• Does well with boundaries
Preferred Qualifications:
• Patient and engaging
• Enjoys interactive play
• Strong communication and calm presence
Requirements*:
• Willing to undergo a caregiver background check prior to hire
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
*If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer. If hired by the person you're caring for (member), or their Managing Party, the legal employer on record is that person. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
