Youth Respite Provider
Description & Requirements
Are you compassionate, reliable and have great communication skills? Do you love helping people? Do you love working with youth and families? If you answered yes to the above, we would love to hear from you! Position is for a young boy. More details about kiddo are discussed during the interview!
Family:
- Child: Young boy
City of Residence: Eau Claire
Location of Respite: In providers home, in the community
Schedule:
- 8 hours a week
- Flexible, after school hour scheduling
Pay:
- $17.66
Tasks:
- Use reminders for tasks
- Helping him clean up
- Hanging out together
- Meal prep
- Keep a watchful eye on him
Kiddo enjoys:
- Physical activities like climbing, running,
- Going to the park
- Video games
- Drawing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Patient & Thoughtful in Speech and communication
- Understanding of autism behaviors
Requirements*:
- Willing to undergo a caregiver background check prior to hire
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
*Must be able to successfully pass a background check before being hired. If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
