This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Are you compassionate, reliable and have great communication skills? Do you love helping people? Do you love working with youth and families? If you answered yes to the above, we would love to hear from you! Position is for a two brothers. More details about kiddo are discussed during the interview!

Hours/Desired Schedule:

  • 4 hours a week to start, up to 8 hours
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Thursday and Friday afternoons

 

Location:

  • In the members home

 

Pay: $17.60

 

Tasks

  • Meal prep/eating help/G-tube
  • Lifting/ transferring
  • Assisting with exercises
  • Helping with wheelchairs
  • Organization help
  • Dressing help in the future

 

Children Like

  • Disney movies
  • Tv &Tablet
  • Nintendo plushies
  • Dogman or cat kid books
  • Legos, needs assistance with those
  • Minecraft/Roblox
  • Pokémon cards

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift 60/70 pounds
  • Understanding of rare genetic neurodegenerative conditions

 

Requirements*:

  • Willing to undergo a caregiver background check prior to hire
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

 

*Must be able to successfully pass a background check before being hired. If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
