JOB SUMMARY

The Training Manager designs, implements, and evaluates training initiatives that align with organizational goals and promote operational excellence. This position ensures staff, clients, and caregivers have access to engaging, effective learning experiences that enhance performance and support company values. The role proactively identifies training needs, develops and delivers targeted solutions, and measures outcomes to drive continuous improvement and organizational success.

 

JOB DUTIES 

  • Lead the development, delivery, and evaluation of training programs that support business objectives and operational consistency
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and data-driven decision-making
  • Identify organizational training needs and develop intuitive, practical materials and job aids
  • Measure and evaluate training effectiveness using impact analysis and adherence assessments
  • Maintain and update training materials, job aids, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in collaboration with subject matter experts and quality peers
  • Oversee the design and facilitation of systems and process trainings for program operations
  • Recruit, hire, supervise, and develop training staff to ensure effective departmental performance
  • Manage daily training operations, including workflow, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Lead change management efforts for new implementations and special projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to ensure cohesive training delivery and consistent service quality
  • Partner with IT and program office support to improve the usability and accessibility of caregiver and client training resources
  • Ensure visibility of training resources through instructor-led and digital learning platforms
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to organizational strategic planning
  • Represent the training department in leadership initiatives and organizational forums


QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2–4 years of experience in training, instructional design, or adult learning
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • Strong facilitation, written communication, and public speaking skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in evaluating software usability and driving process improvement
  • Experience with Workday Learning Management System (LMS), CRM platforms, and process improvement tools preferred
  • Ability to identify training gaps and develop proactive, results-oriented solutions
  • Visionary leadership with strong execution and follow-through skills
  • Be able to successfully pass a background screening
  • If working remote, employee must provide their own reliable internet 
  • Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours, if needed, to meet the job requirements
 
The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone, and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
