JOB SUMMARY
- Design, Implement, Project Manage, Document, Support, and Train on new and existing IT systems
- Promote cohesiveness in the office environment
- Support day-to-day operations
JOB DUTIES
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures
- Demonstrate dependability
- Demonstrate high-level problem solving and decision-making skills
- High-level escalation for troubleshooting and system outages
- Maintain necessary skills and knowledge to coordinate workflow
- Promptly address and resolve incoming incidents and requests within agreed upon time frames
- Develop documentation to incorporate proper processes and procedures as standards
- Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects
- Participate in professional development and training activities
- Prioritize and multitask effectively
- Provide excellent customer service
- Provide mentoring, training to coworkers in clear non-technical language
- Evaluate existing systems and provide technical direction to systems engineers, systems administrators, and service desk
- Establish, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, servers/storage, networking, application software, and system management tools
- Plan and implement systems automation as required for better efficiency
- Occasional travel to remote offices and the data center
- Afterhours work as needed for system upgrades and outages
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Bilingual preferred in various locations
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 4 years IT Systems Administration and/or IT Systems Engineering experience in a Microsoft environment required
- Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
- AZ-104 and AZ900 Certifications
- Demonstrated expert-level knowledge in 1 or more of the following: Exchange Server/Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, Windows Server, Hyper-V, System Center, SQL Server, Azure Administration, system/network monitoring, and Sharepoint
- Be able to successfully pass a background screening
- Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours, if needed, to meet the job requirements.
- Employees must provide their own reliable internet if working a remote/hybrid position.
The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds.
