JOB SUMMARY
Developers who work at Consumer Direct Care Network gain direct exposure to the entire Microsoft stack; this includes cutting edge PaaS/Cloud technologies. Our relationships with key cloud vendors ensure that developers are exposed to industry best-practices, the latest development tools and ground-breaking new delivery mechanisms. Our team of excellent developers plays a major role in shaping and supporting Consumer Direct Care Network’s enterprise class internal business applications.
JOB DUTIES
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Independently develop website architecture for small to medium-sized projects
- Proficiently deploy and author code for cloud infrastructure and software components on the Azure platform, including:
- Functions
- Service Bus
- Logic Apps
- Cosmos NoSQL
- Data Factory
- Event Grid
- Design moderately complex user interactions on web pages
- Develop and optimize back-end website applications with minimal supervision
- Create and manage databases for functionality
- Ensure cross-platform optimization and responsiveness of applications
- Lead small projects from conception to finished product
- Design and develop basic APIs
- Contribute to team discussions and problem-solving sessions
- Mentor Software
- Engineer I team members
- Conduct basic code reviews
- Guide basic user stories through the SDLC process with supervision
- Participate in story refinement sessions and help break down requirements
- Document technical implementations and acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with QA to ensure proper test coverage of user stories
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2 to 4 years of experience
- Proficiency in object-oriented languages such as C# or Java
- Strong skills in front-end technologies and frameworks (e.g., Angular, React)
- Good understanding of server-side languages and database technology
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- If working in a hybrid capacity, must provide a reliable internet connection from home
