JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Director of Enterprise Engineering, Security & Support is a senior technology leader responsible for the strategic direction, operational excellence, and continuous improvement of the organization’s infrastructure, cybersecurity, and end-user support functions. This role ensures the reliability, security, and performance of enterprise systems while fostering a high-performing, service-oriented culture across all technology support teams.


JOB DUTIES

Enterprise Engineering & Infrastructure
  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise infrastructure, including cloud, network, storage, and compute environments.
  • Drive modernization initiatives such as cloud adoption, automation, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Ensure system scalability, availability, and performance to meet evolving business needs.

Cybersecurity Leadership/Security Officer

  • Oversee the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, including risk management, threat detection, incident response, governance and controls.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Promote a culture of security awareness and proactive risk mitigation.
  • Oversee required certifications or security framework assessments such as SOC1, SOC2 Type II, HITRUST.

End-User Support & Service Delivery

  • Lead IT support operations, including service desk, desktop engineering, and field services.
  • Ensure a responsive, customer-focused support experience through effective service management practices.
  • Implement and optimize ITSM tools and processes to improve service delivery and user satisfaction.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Build and lead a diverse, high-performing team of engineers, analysts, and support professionals.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable team culture.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and career development opportunities for team members.

Strategic Planning & Governance

  • Develop and manage budgets, vendor relationships, and strategic roadmaps for infrastructure, security, and support services.
  • Participate in enterprise architecture and IT governance forums to align technology initiatives with business priorities.
  • Provide regular reporting on operational performance, risk posture, and strategic progress.
  • Oversee disaster recovery plans and ensuring the security of systems and data


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise application delivery, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing offshore teams and global delivery models.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, and integration frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
  • Agile and DevOps methodologies, preferred.
  • Experience with global vendor management and contract negotiation, preferred.
  • Change management and organizational transformation expertise preferred.
  • Must provide own reliable internet if employee working hybrid/remote 
  • Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours, if needed, to meet the job requirements

The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
