JOB SUMMARY
 
The Senior Director of Enterprise Application Delivery is a strategic technology leader responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and delivery of enterprise-wide application platforms. This role ensures that application solutions meet business needs, are scalable, and are delivered efficiently across global teams. The position includes direct oversight of both onshore and offshore teams, requiring strong cross-cultural leadership and vendor management skills.


JOB DUTIES

Strategic Leadership
  • Develop and execute the enterprise application delivery strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives and application modernization efforts.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritize technology investments.
Team & Delivery Management
  • Lead a global team of application professionals, including onshore and offshore developers, analysts, and project managers.
  • Establish and manage delivery models that leverage offshore capabilities for scalability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure consistent performance, quality, and accountability across distributed teams.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with business units to understand requirements and deliver application solutions that drive value.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Technology Oversight
  • Oversee enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, and custom applications.
  • Ensure robust system integration, data governance, and security compliance.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.
Governance & Budget
  • Manage budgets for application delivery, including offshore vendor contracts and service agreements.
  • Implement governance frameworks for application development, change management, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor KPIs and SLAs to ensure service excellence across all delivery channels.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise application delivery, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing offshore teams and global delivery models.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, and integration frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
  • Agile and DevOps methodologies, preferred.
  • Experience with global vendor management and contract negotiation, preferred.
  • Change management and organizational transformation expertise preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours, if needed, to meet the job requirements
  • Employees must provide their own reliable internet if working a remote/hybrid position

The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
