This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.
We are seeking a caring, reliable, and active caregiver to support a sweet and energetic young boy.
His mother is currently in long-term care and, due to her disabilities, is unable to physically keep up with his activity level or participate in many community outings. She is looking for someone who can help provide positive experiences, social interaction, and fun opportunities for her son to explore the community.
 
Schedule:
  • Current schedule for July and August: Monday- Evenings -3:30PM pick up- entertain child- assist child for bed by 8:30PM. Monday-Friday-Mornings 6:30AM-8:30AM assist with drop off at Caravel in Rothschild, WI.
  • Mom will be recovering from surgery and needs extra supports this summer
  • Flexible scheduling may be discussed with parent
  • Schedule is subject to change after summer

  • Curious, positive, and eager to explore new experiences
Responsibilities:
  • Provide attentive supervision and companionship
  • Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities
  • Take him on community outings when possible, such as playgrounds, parks, library story times, and other child-friendly activities
  • Encourage learning, play, social interaction, and exploration
  • Help create fun experiences and lasting memories
  • Prepare dinner/dishes/clean up/clean our and repack child's lunch
  • Lay out clothes for next morning

  • Patient, dependable, and energetic
  • Enjoys working with young children
  • Comfortable with community outings and active play
  • Able to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment
