This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Respite Provider Needed in Eau Claire, WI

We’re looking for a compassionate and reliable caregiver to support a young boy living in Eau Claire, WI. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact while building a meaningful connection with a bright and curious kiddo.

Schedule & Compensation

$14.13 per hour up to 12 hours per week
Monday - Friday (School year) between 2:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Monday - Friday (Summer time) Mornings
$207.45 per overnight up to 2 overnights per month
Local overnight in the community 2 over nights a month 12 hours a week
Day time in the summer any home and community
Monday -Fridays morning activities go on walks and swim gentle reminders and supervision

Location

Care will take place in two settings:

• Provider’s home

• Community outings

Responsibilities

Assist with personal cares
Meal preparation
Provide supervision and safety
Offer gentle reminders as needed

About the Kiddo

He’s a curious and creative thinker who loves:

Nonfiction books
Space and astronomy
Numbers and math puzzles
Music—especially playing the drums

Preferred Qualifications

Patient and thoughtful communicator
Familiarity with autism behaviors and supportive strategies

Requirements

Must pass a caregiver background check prior to hire
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
