This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are seeking a flexible, reliable, and caring Respite Provider to support a young boy with autism in the Eau Claire area.

This energetic child enjoys spending time outdoors, including going for walks, visiting parks, and swinging on playground swings. Services will primarily take place in the community and may occasionally occur in the provider's home.

Responsibilities:
Provide attentive supervision and support during community activities.
Ensure the child's safety at all times, particularly due to elopement (wandering) concerns.
Maintain open communication with the family regarding schedules and activities.
Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment.

Qualifications:
Dependable, patient, and compassionate.
Comfortable working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities.
Able to provide close supervision and respond appropriately to safety concerns.
Reliable transportation preferred for community-based activities.
Bilingual Hmong/English skills are highly preferred, as the family primarily speaks Hmong.

Schedule:
Approximately 6 hours per week + 4 days per month
Additional hours may become available in the future.
Flexible scheduling based on provider and family availability.

Compensation:
$14.13 per hour.

If you enjoy working with children and making a meaningful difference in the lives of families, we encourage you to apply.
