This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are seeking a respite worker to provide respite for a 12-year-old girl in Edgar, WI. She loves reading, writing, art and crafts, going to the YMCA, going out in the community, and learning new things.

Respite care will be conducted in the kid's home. Community outings are also encouraged.

WAGE
  • $14.13 per hour (less than 8 hours)
  • $207.45 per day (more than 8 hours)

SCHEDULE
  • 10 hours a week
  • 2 days a month
  • Flexible schedule to be determined by family.

TASK
  • Supervision and safety
  • Active attentiveness
  • Willing to assist with daily routine (daily hygiene reminders/ assistance) 
  • Companionship and social engagement
  • Engage with clients and encourage appropriate behaviors.
  • Provide transportation to/from activities

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Criminal/Caregiver background check.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance preferred.
Compassionate individuals with childcare or respite care experience preferred.
Experience with children with mental health and/or development disability preferred.
