This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are searching for a caring, experienced individual to provide respite services for an energetic girl residing in Wausau, WI.  As a respite provider, your foremost responsibility is to establish and maintain a positive relationship while providing companionship and supervision.  

Hours: Mon: 5am to 11am 
             Tue-Thu: 5:30am to 11am
             Friday: 3:30am to 11am

Pay: $7.07/hour or $57.75/day

Responsibilities: 
  • Provide direct support, always ensuring her safety. 
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with the teen and her family
  • Create firm boundaries but still be kind and empathetic
  • Assist with ensuring the teen is up in the morning around 8am and ready to for pick up at 11am

Skills:
  • Be consistent and confident in your abilities.
  • Experience working with youth with mental health issues a plus
  • Able to use redirection/de-escalation techniques if needed

Qualifications:
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Reliable Transportation
