This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are seeking a fun, dependable, and caring respite provider to spend weekends at home with a wonderful young boy. The role involves providing supervision, companionship, and creating a positive, engaging environment.

After a busy school week, he benefits from calm structure, consistency, and fun. He is kind and respectful, and enjoys both outdoor activities and relaxed time at home.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and brings patience, creativity, and a nurturing approach.

ABOUT THE KIDDO
o Kind, respectful, and easy to get along with
o Enjoys outdoor adventures and staying active
o Loves hunting, fishing, walking, and video games
o Does best in a calm, supportive, and fun environment
 
SCHEDULE & HOURS
o 2 Full Weekends per month
o Friday Night through Sunday Morning
o Weeks in advance scheduling from the family
 
COMPENSATION
o $300+ per weekend
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
o Provide safe, engaging, and attentive care in your home
o Supervise and support daily routines and activities
o Encourage fun, creativity, and positive interaction
o Assist with basic daily needs and structure
o Participate in outdoor activities such as walks, fishing, and play
o Provide companionship, patience, and emotional support
o Maintain a safe, nurturing, and calm environment
 
IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for someone who is:
o Friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic
o Who loves the great outdoors
o Flexible and able to change gears quickly
o Comfortable working in a home setting and occasionally in the community
o Able to maintain a fun, engaging, and safe environment
o Someone who values connection with children and understands the importance of building trust
 
REQUIREMENTS
o Valid driver’s license
o Reliable transportation
o Must pass a background check
o Previous experience in caregiving, child care, or respite is preferred but not required
