This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient individual to serve as a Respite Provider for a young child in the Chippewa Falls area. This role involves providing care in the provider’s home as well as engaging in community-based activities.
 
Schedule
• Two weekends per month (4 days total)
• Approximately 5 hours per week (afternoons)
 
Location
• Provider’s home
• Community-based settings and activities
 
Compensation
• $17.66 per hour
• $256 per day
 
Responsibilities
• Monitoring and guiding appropriate use of technology
• Providing mentorship and positive engagement
• Assisting with daily living activities
• Preparing meals or cooking together
• Supporting participation in recreational and community activities
 
Child’s Interests

• Exploring new interests
• Enjoys humor and lighthearted interaction
 
Preferred Qualifications
• Patient and thoughtful communicator
• Energetic, outgoing, and engaged personality
• Ability to serve as a positive role model
 
Requirements
• Caregiver background check
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
