This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Respite Care Provider Needed – Flexible, Rewarding Position!

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic respite provider for an energetic young girl who loves cooking and baking, arts and crafts, outdoor fun, and visiting parks. If you enjoy being creative, active, and supportive, this is a wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact!

Position Details

• Hourly Rate: $14.13 per hour
• Weekly Hours: Up to 15 hours per week
• Occasional Weekend Rate: $207.45 per day
• Mileage Reimbursement: Available for approved outings and activities
• Scheduling: Very flexible

Responsibilities

• Provide gentle reminders and monitoring of insulin levels
• Assist with meal preparation as needed
• Engage the child in fun, creative, and active activities
• Provide supervision during outdoor play and community outings
• Run errands as needed
• Promote a safe, supportive, and positive environment

Requirements

• Must be available at least 3 hours per week
• Able to pass a caregiver background check
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
• Experience working with children
• Knowledge of diabetes care preferred, but not required (training provided)
• Strong willingness to learn and follow care routines
