Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Respite Care Provider Needed – Flexible, Fun Position!

Are you looking for a fun and rewarding part time opportunity? We are seeking a caring, dependable respite provider for a smart, energetic young girl who loves to swing, ride her bike, swim, explore parks, enjoy picnics, and go on lovely outdoor walks!

This is a great role for someone who enjoys being active, engaging, and creative during play and community outings.

Position Details

• Pay Rate: $10.60 per hour

• Hours: Up to 15 hours per week

• Occasional Weekend Rate: $154.48 per day

• Mileage Reimbursement: Available for approved activities and outings

• Scheduling: Very flexible!

Responsibilities

• Provide gentle toilet reminders (minimal physical assistance)
• Engage in fun, active, and age appropriate activities
• Offer supervision during outdoor adventures (swings, bike rides, parks, swimming, etc.)
• Run errands as needed
• Support a safe, structured, and enjoyable environment

Requirements

• Must be available at least 3 hours per week
• Able to pass a caregiver background check
• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
• Experience working with children
• Experience with children with behavioral needs is a plus, but not required
