Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Job Title: Part-Time Care Provider

Location: Menomonie, WI

Compensation: $14.13 per hour + $0.70 per mile

Schedule: 16–18 hours per week

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Care (Respite) Provider to assist a client who requires supervision and transportation to out-of-town appointments. This role involves long-distance driving, attentive support during appointments, and ensuring the client’s safety and comfort throughout the day.

If you are patient, caring, and enjoy helping others, this flexible part-time position may be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport the client to and from out-of-town medical and personal appointments.

• Provide active supervision and support during travel and appointment times.

• Monitor and maintain the client’s comfort, safety, and well-being at all times.

• Communicate effectively with the client, family members, and healthcare providers.

• Keep the vehicle and environment clean, safe, and organized during outings.

• Track mileage accurately for reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the United States.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Reliable vehicle capable of long-distance travel.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including travel time.

• Previous experience in caregiving, respite care, or a related field preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to handle unexpected situations with calmness and professionalism.

• Must pass a background check and provide references.
