Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.


Job Title: Part-Time Care Provider

Location: Menomonie, WI

Compensation: $14.13 per hour + $0.70 per mile

Schedule: 16–18 hours per week
 
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Care (Respite) Provider to assist a client who requires supervision and transportation to out-of-town appointments. This role involves long-distance driving, attentive support during appointments, and ensuring the client’s safety and comfort throughout the day.
If you are patient, caring, and enjoy helping others, this flexible part-time position may be a great fit.
 
Key Responsibilities
Safely transport the client to and from out-of-town medical and personal appointments.
Provide active supervision and support during travel and appointment times.
Monitor and maintain the client’s comfort, safety, and well-being at all times.
Communicate effectively with the client, family members, and healthcare providers.
Keep the vehicle and environment clean, safe, and organized during outings.
Track mileage accurately for reimbursement.
 
Qualifications
Authorization to work in the United States.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Reliable vehicle capable of long-distance travel.
Ability to work flexible hours, including travel time.
Previous experience in caregiving, respite care, or a related field preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle unexpected situations with calmness and professionalism.
Must pass a background check and provide references.
