Daily Living Support Specialist – Eau Claire, WI

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and engaged caregiver to support two brothers and assist their mother within their home. If you enjoy helping families, supporting children with unique needs, and making a positive difference through daily care, this role may be a great fit.

Position Overview
The Respite Caregiver will provide hands-on assistance with daily living needs, mobility support, and basic organization within the home. This role involves consistent collaboration with the parent and focuses on providing both practical support and compassionate care.
 
Compensation
$17.60 per hour

Schedule & Hours
4 hours per week to start
Flexible scheduling available
Ideal availability: Thursday and Friday mid-afternoons
Additional hours may be available over time
 
Location
All care takes place in the family’s home in Eau Claire, WI
 
 
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor a feeding tube
Assist with lifting, repositioning, and transferring
Support physical exercises and mobility routines
Help with wheelchairs and related equipment
Assist with organization within the home
Provide dressing assistance (current or future need)
 
Interests of the Children
The boys enjoy a wide variety of engaging, fun activities, including:
Disney movies
TV and tablet time
Nintendo plush characters
Dogman and Cat Kid books
Legos (with assistance)
Minecraft and Roblox
Pokémon cards
 
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to comfortably lift 60–70 pounds
Familiarity with, or willingness to learn about, rare genetic neurodegenerative conditions
Experience supporting individuals with mobility needs is helpful but not required
 
Requirements
Willingness to complete a caregiver background check prior to hire
Valid driver’s license
Reliable vehicle
Active auto insurance
