This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Weekday Afternoons & Occasional Weekend Evenings

We’re looking for a caring, reliable Respite Provider to support a young boy in Eau Claire. This role includes helping with daily care, supervising fun activities, and providing a safe, supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
• Assist with bathing, toileting, meal prep, and medication
• Supervise and participate in outings (e.g., swimming, museum visits, time with pets)
• Provide patient, attentive support and maintain safety

Ideal Candidate:
• Comfortable with pets
• Kind, patient, and proactive
• Experience with behavioral challenges or crisis intervention is a plus
• Training in de escalation and safe intervention preferred

Requirements:
• 18+ years old
• Ability to safely assist or intervene with individuals up to 200 lbs
• Ability to perform physical holds per training
• Able to stand, walk, and respond quickly in emergencies
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, reliable transportation
• Background check & legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Compensation:
• $17.66/hr for shifts under 8 hours
• $256/day for shifts over 8 hours
