This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Are you looking for a job where you can provide 1:1 care to a child, help develop a child's development, and work in a positive environment? This is the position for you.

We are seeking a Respite Worker to provide respite for a 7-year-old boy in Edgar, WI.

This boy loves sports, movies, playing with trucks, reading, and learning new things.

Respite care will be conducted in the kid's home. Community outings are also encouraged.

WAGE

• $17.66 per hour (less than 8 hours)
• $256.00 per day (more than 8 hours)

LOCATION: Edgar, WI

SCHEDULE

• 10 hours a week
• 2 days a month
• Flexible Schedule to be determined by family.

TASKS

• Supervision and Safety
• Interacting and Guidance
• Build confidence/independence
• Companionship and Social Engagement
• Assist in maintaining routine including ADL's (daily hygiene reminders/ assistance)
• Transport youth to community events (in your vehicle)
• Engage with the client and encourage appropriate behaviors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Criminal/Caregiver background check.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance preferred.
• Compassionate individuals with childcare or respite care experience preferred.
• Experience with children with mental health and/or behaviors preferred.
• Males encouraged to apply.
