About the Role:
We’re looking for a calm, patient, and reliable support provider to spend time with a thoughtful, outdoors-loving young boy. He enjoys quiet connection, gentle communication, and being outside.

Responsibilities:
• Provide part-time and/or back-up support as needed
• Spend time with him at home and in the community, engaging in activities he enjoys (especially outdoors)
• Assist with light meal preparation and sit with him during meals
• Maintain a calm environment and use soft-spoken communication
• Support sensory needs, including use of sensory equipment
• Respect personal space and allow extra processing time for tasks
• Learn and follow care routines, including how to manage and replace his G-Button (training provided)
• Be attentive to asthma symptoms and administer inhaler as needed (training provided)

About You:
• Calm, patient, and gentle in communication
• Comfortable supporting sensory sensitivities (lighting, textures, quiet environments)
• Reliable, flexible, and able to step in for back-up shifts
• Comfortable learning new care routines and equipment
• Enjoys spending time outdoors
• Experience with disability support or caregiving is a plus, but not required.

If you’re someone who values calm connection, respects sensory needs, and enjoys making a meaningful difference in a child’s daily life, we’d love to hear from you!
