This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Job Title: Care Provider (Part-Time)

Location: Menomonie

Compensation: $14.13 per hour + $0.70 per mile

Hours: 16-18 hours per week

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Respite Provider to support a client by providing supervision and transportation for out-of-town appointments. This part-time role requires the ability to drive long distances safely, offer attentive supervision, and assist with day-to-day needs during appointments. The ideal candidate will be punctual, caring, and able to work flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport the client to and from appointments located out of town, ensuring timely and safe travel.
• Provide supervision and support to the client during appointments and travel.
• Monitor the client’s well-being, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
• Communicate effectively with the client, family members, and healthcare providers as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment during transportation and appointments.
• Record mileage for reimbursement purposes.

Qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable vehicle suitable for long-distance travel.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including travel time.
• Previous experience in caregiving, respite care, or a related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and responsibly.
• Must pass background check and provide references.
