This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Respite Provider Needed - Flexible Shifts -

We are seeking an energetic, creative, and compassionate individual to provide respite care for a fun-loving, active child. The ideal candidate will enjoy outdoor activities, playing games (tag, hide & seek, Jenga, Uno, etc.), and be able to adapt to the child’s individual needs. This role offers flexibility in scheduling. If you are an active, creative, and outgoing individual who loves working with children and enjoys helping them thrive, we would love to hear from you! Pay: $14.13/Hour
Location: Altoona, WI - In the child's home & community

Schedule:
2-3 days/week, 4-6 hours/day (15 hours/week available)
Typical days: TUES-FRI (Occasionally MON or SAT, No SUN)

Key Responsibilities:
Provide engaging, active, and fun summer care for the child, ensuring they are safe, entertained, and supported.
Foster a warm and supportive relationship with the child, providing care that respects their preferences and personality.

Qualifications:
Previous experience working with children, especially those with special needs and/or behavioral needs - preferred but not required.
Patience and understanding when the child is transitioning between activities or feeling tired.
Creative, outgoing, and able to encourage and motivate the child to try new activities & work on his summer goals.

Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Willing to undergo a caregiver background check upon hire
