This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are seeking an experienced Child Respite Provider for boy siblings with autism to provide care, companionship, and supervision. These boys are mostly non-verbal, so patience is required. Respite will occur in their own home. The ideal provider must enjoy working with children with special needs and have confidence in their abilities.

The boys enjoy: toys, toy cars, waterplay 
Wage:  $17.70 per hour/$259.32 per day
Shift: 80 hours per month 
               4 days per month – prefer Saturdays or Sundays
Location: Weston, WI

Duties
  • Care/Supervision/Companionship
  • Toileting (assistance with clean up) 
  • Meal Prep/snacks
  • Redirect and de-escalate behaviors as needed

Qualifications
  • Valid Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, & auto insurance
  • Previous experience with special needs children/Autism
