This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

OVERNIGHT RESPITE PROVIDER – Chippewa Falls, WI

Are you someone who enjoys helping others and making a meaningful difference? We’re looking for a compassionate, dependable, and fun overnight Respite Provider to spend quality time with an amazing kiddo while parents are away running errands or taking a much-needed break.

As an overnight Respite Provider, you’ll offer comfort, companionship, and care in the family’s home environment — ensuring the kiddo is safe, happy, and well-supported throughout the evening and overnight hours. This position is perfect for someone with a nurturing heart who enjoys calm, predictable overnight shifts and loves helping families thrive.

Your presence gives parents the peace of mind they need while knowing their child is cared for by someone trustworthy and kind.

SHIFTS

• Approximately 6 full days per month

• Flexible scheduling — work with the family to find what fits best

• Overnight shifts (includes evening through morning hours)

• Ideal for individuals seeking supplemental income or a meaningful part-time opportunity

WAGE

• $250+ Per Shift

EVENING SHIFT DUTIES

Before bedtime, you’ll have a chance to spend some fun, engaging time with the kiddo — they love to:

• Listen to music and have fun getting the “sillies” out before bedtime

• Crash pad time for some active play and sensory input

• Enjoy visual and sensory play activities

• Snack time before winding down for the night

After the fun, you’ll transition into the nighttime routine, which includes:

• Helping with pajamas and tooth brushing

• Reading a bedtime story and creating a calm atmosphere for sleep

• Performing periodic check-ins throughout the night to ensure the kiddo is safe and comfortable

• Providing soothing support if the kiddo experiences night terrors or restlessness

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid Driver’s License

• Reliable transportation to and from the family’s home

• Must pass a background check

• A calm, caring, and dependable personality

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is a plus, but not required — the right attitude and compassion matter most
