This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

MORNING IN-HOME RESPITE PROVIDER – Mondovi, WI

We are seeking a patient, understanding, and dependable caregiver to help a bright and energetic young girl with her morning routine before school. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, positive, and able to provide structure while maintaining a gentle, encouraging tone.
 
This child thrives with caregivers who are kind, consistent, and able to turn the morning routine into a fun, music-filled experience. She can become overwhelmed by transitions or changes in routine, so a caregiver who provides reassurance, clear communication, and emotional space will be a great fit.
 
SHIFTS
7:00 AM - 8:00AM (1.5 Hour Shifts)
Monday through Friday
THE GOAL : Get her up,ready, and to school on time (8:30AM)
7.5 Hours each week

WAGE
$14.13 per hour + Mileage Reimbursement

RESPONSIBILITIES
Arrive at the home by 7:00 AM each morning
Support with the morning routine, including:
o Helping her get dressed (offering gentle direction)
o Preparing and supervising breakfast
o Teeth brushing and medication reminders
o Bathing every other day (she washes herself; assistance with getting in/out of tub)
Provide transportation to school
Keep mornings positive — play music, give compliments, and maintain a calm tone
Allow space when she feels irritated or overwhelmed
Help her manage transitions by giving mental warnings before changes
Provide reassurance during moments of frustration or sensory overload
Encourage movement and safety awareness during walking
Support emotional regulation — respond with patience when she becomes angry or anxious
 
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who is:
Patient, compassionate, and dependable
Calm and confident when emotions run high
Able to follow a structured routine while staying flexible to the child’s needs
A natural encourager who uses compliments and music to motivate
Understanding of sensory sensitivities and the importance of emotional space
 
REQUIREMENTS
Valid Driver’s License
Reliable Transportation
Must pass a background check
