CARE FOR TWO SWEET BOYS – Fall Creek, WI

We are seeking two patient, dependable, and compassionate Respite Providers to care for two wonderful boys in their family home. These brothers are bright, loving, and full of personality — and they thrive with caregivers who bring calm energy, understanding, and structure to their day.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience supporting children with autism and ADHD, or for someone who has a big heart and a willingness to learn. The right caregivers will enjoy helping the boys through their afternoon routines, encouraging play, and creating a safe and supportive environment where they can be themselves.

ABOUT THE BOYS
These two brothers are autistic and non-verbal, with ADHD, and each has a unique personality and rhythm. They are happiest when engaged in play, music, or sensory activities — and they truly shine when surrounded by patient, positive people.

Here’s a bit about them:
They love crafts, music, video games, and learning new things.
They enjoy active play, pretend games, and doing their own creative projects.
They thrive when they’re encouraged and praised — positive feedback helps them stay motivated and confident.
While they are both incredibly sweet and affectionate, they can become frustrated when communication is difficult or routines change unexpectedly.
At times, they may show challenging behaviors such as pinching, biting, scratching, or pulling hair. These moments require calm redirection, understanding, and gentle de-escalation — skills that come naturally to caregivers who are patient and consistent.

The boys do best with caregivers who use clear structure, reassurance, and a calm tone. Someone who can turn daily routines into moments of connection and fun will fit right in!

RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide safe, structured, and engaging care in the boys’ home
Help with afternoon and evening routines
Plan and participate in activities the boys enjoy (crafts, music, games, walks, etc.)
Support emotional regulation by staying calm and consistent during challenging moments
Communicate clearly and provide gentle transitions between activities
Maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment throughout the shift
