This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.


Job Title: Teen Respite Provider

Location: Wrightstown, WI

Wage: $ 10.60 per hour


We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Teen Respite Provider to spend quality time with a lovable teenage boy with special needs, both in his home and out in the community. 

This teen loves to discuss his hobbies, which include trains, buses, music, video games (limited screen time), and going up north with family.     

The ideal candidate is: 
  • Confident, energetic, and patient 
  • Skilled at building positive, supportive relationships 
  • Committed to creating a safe, encouraging environment 

Schedule: 10 hours per week (afternoons, early evenings, weekends) 

Responsibilities: 
  • Engaging the teen in fun, meaningful activities during respite hours 
  • Supporting the teen in making positive choices 
  • Providing supervision and companionship at home and in community settings 
  • Promoting independence while ensuring safety 

Qualifications:   
  • Must be 18 years or older 
  • High school diploma or GED required  
  • Experience working with children with special needs; developmental disabilities, Autism  
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance  
  • Willing to undergo background check 

*If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.
