This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Respite Worker Needed! Wausau, WI

Seeking an individual to provide respite services to a 12-year-old boy in-home and out in the community!
This kid loves watching shows on his Tablet, loves to go to the Parks, going for walks and loves animals. His favorite shows are Bluey and Disney Movies and Baby Einstein.
 
WAGE
$14.13 per hour
 
SCHEDULE
10 hours/week
• Afternoons and Evenings
• Occasional Weekend Hours
• Flexible Schedule
 
JOB DUTIES
• Supervision
• Active attentiveness
• Toileting Assistance with incontinent
• Companionship and Social Engagement
• Provide transportation to/from community activities
• Engage with client and encourage appropriate behaviors.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Criminal/Caregiver background check
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance required
• Compassionate individual with care experience preferred
• Experience working with children with special needs preferred
• Experience working with non-verbal children preferred.
