This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Youth Respite Provider - Focus on Consistency

We are seeking a reliable, patient, and engaging respite/childcare provider to support our energetic and creative elementary-aged child. This role is ideal for someone active, compassionate, and fun-loving who enjoys both structured and playful activities.
 
Schedule & Hours
Morning Care: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM (assist with breakfast, getting ready, and drop-off at School)
Afternoon Care: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, 3:40 PM – 5:30 PM (includes Wednesday speech appointment 4:00–4:30PM)
-Opportunity to add 1 overnight every other weekend ($207 per overnight)

Starting Wage: $14.13/Hour & $207/Overnight
 
About Our Child
Child is bright, social, and imaginative. He loves:
Bluey, Lego, Play-Doh, arts & crafts
Outdoor play, park trips, and staying active
Video games (Mario, Zelda), sensory play (swivel seat, crash pad), and make-believe play

He sometimes experiences big feelings and may need space or gentle redirection when frustrated. He responds best to patient, soft-spoken, and silly caregivers who can help him regulate while keeping activities fun and engaging.

Responsibilities
Assist with morning routines (breakfast, school prep, drop-off)
Plan and engage in regulating afternoon activities (outdoor play, creative projects, sensory-friendly play)
Provide consistent, calm, and positive guidance when challenges arise
Assist with activities of daily living, such as toileting
Transport to/from school and activities as needed
Occasional overnight care optional

Qualifications
Must have valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
Experience working with children preferred
Active, engaging, and patient personality
