Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Now Hiring: Youth Respite Provider – Safety & Fun-Focused Support

We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and reliable Sibling Respite Provider to support a wonderful family with two children who have special needs. This rewarding role focuses on providing meaningful respite care, giving parents a well-deserved break while ensuring their children are safe, engaged, and supported.

The ideal provider is patient, proactive, and enjoys creating a structured, positive environment where children can thrive. You’ll assist with daily living activities, facilitate engaging play, and provide emotional support in a nurturing space.
 
Location: Colfax, WI
Starting Wage: $14.13–$17.70/hour
Schedule: Up to 40 hours/month (scheduled in advance with parent)
 
Key Responsibilities
Plan and lead age-appropriate, engaging activities for the children.
Assist with daily living tasks such as eating, dressing, and bathing.
Ensure the children’s safety at all times through attentive supervision.
Provide emotional support and build trusting relationships with the children.
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding progress and needs.

Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and reliability.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Authorized to work in the U.S. and have reliable transportation.

Desired Traits
Enthusiastic, creative, and passionate about working with children.
Experience with children who have special needs (preferred).
Responsible, detail-oriented, and proactive in providing care.
