This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

 
We are seeking an individual to provide respite for an 8-year-old little girl who is non-verbal in the Wausau, WI area. 
 
This girl loves nature, being outdoors, arts and crafts, going to the park and Museum, spending time on her tablet, and learning new things. Respite care will be conducted in the community and in the provider's home.
  
Flexible Scheduling, Positive Work Environment, and get paid to have FUN. 
  
Location: Wausau, WI 
 
Pay: 
• $14.13/hourly 
  
Schedule:   
• 20 hours/week
• Monday-Friday - 4:30PM-6:30PM
• Saturday - 12:00PM-4:00PM
• Days off from school
   
Tasks: 
• Supervision 
• Toileting assistance 
• Active attentiveness 
• Communication Assistance 
• Companionship and Social Engagement 
• Provide transportation to/from activities 
• Engage with client and encourage appropriate behaviors. 
• Hang out and have fun! 
  
Qualifications: 
• Authorized to work in the U.S. 
• Criminal/Caregiver background check. 
• Compassionate individual with caregiving experience preferred. 
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required. 
• Understanding of Autism and development disabilities. 
• Experience working with children with special needs.
