This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are looking for an experienced Teen Respite Provider to spend time with an energetic teenage boy with special needs. You will be responsible for the teen’s safety and well-being while allowing the main caregiver to take a break from their child for self-care.

This teen enjoys being outdoors, carnivals/fairs, music, Peppa Pig, playgrounds, and swimming.

Location: Wausau
Wage: $17.66 per hour

Schedule:
· 10 hours per week; 3x per week 3:30pm to 6pm or 6:30pm.
· Potential for additional hours to provide backup coverage on Saturday and Sunday afternoons to early evenings from 1pm to 7pm.

Responsibilities:
· 1:1 Constant Supervision
· Assistance with ADLs: dressing, toileting
· Community Outings
· Pick up from program location

Requirements:
· Valid Driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
· Experience working with non-verbal teens with autism
· Excellent communication skills
· Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
  Willing to undergo caregiver background check
