This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Seeking an experienced Youth Respite Provider in or around the Black River Falls Area to care for and spend time with a young female teen.  Family is interested in providers that enjoy being a mentor to teach the teen everyday tasks and routines. If you are honest, patient, and reliable, we encourage you to apply today!

Things she enjoys:
• Arts & Crafts 
• Creative Writing 
• Fantasy & Dragons 
• Video games (has limited screen time)

Schedule: 
• Up to 12 hours per month – (Afternoons needed/flexible hours)  
• Mondays & Thursdays after 5pm 
• Tuesdays & Fridays after 4pm (earlier start time optional)  
• Potential for Weekend hours

Responsibilities:
• Build a trusting relationship with the teen using open communication 
• Engage with the teen and help her stay busy with activities 
• Work with teen in the kitchen/teach meal prep skills 
• Teach daily living skills: day-to-day responsibilities, hygiene, safety, etc.

Qualifications:  
• Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and auto insurance 
• Willing to undergo a caregiver background check upon hire 
• Age 18 or older at start of employment
