This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are searching for an experienced Child Respite Provider to support a creative, energetic young boy with special needs. The ideal candidate will be confident, energetic, and patient. This role requires your willingness to engage in positive activities with the boy to have meaningful interactions during respite time. You will also use your skills to guide and support the boy through various challenges to help him promote positive choices in a safe and encouraging environment.

This boy enjoys: Animals, bike riding, being outdoors, fishing, parks, video games (robux), trampoline park, and paper crafts (origami, paper airplanes)

Location: Green Bay, WI

Wage: $17.66 per hour for shifts 8 hours or less
                 $256 per day for shifts more than 8 hours.

Schedule: 1-2 days per week – Saturdays preferred
                       After 5pm during the week.

Responsibilities:
    • Provide 1:1 mentoring, companionship, and supervision
    • Educate the boy on important life skills, decision-making processes and problem solving.
    • Foster a supportive relationship with open communication, respect, and trust.
    • Provide transportation from afterschool program prior to respite shift location.

Qualifications:
    • Age 18 or older at start of employment
    • Valid Driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
    • Experience working with children with special needs
    • Willing to undergo a background check
