This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Seeking a compassionate, energetic provider for a sweet and social little girl. This child is on the Autism spectrum and may bite or hit when upset - however, she does communicate her needs fairly well and loves to be around people. She would likely do well with other children in the home but may get overstimulated with more than 2. We are looking for 1 weekend/month (overnights) and 4 hours/week - care to take place in your home. She does wear incontinence wear to bed and may need some assistance dressing. Provider must have reliable transportation and be comfortable with pick up/drop off at the family's home in Menomonie.

Pay: $14.13/hour & $207.45/overnight (after tax rate)

Location: Child resides in Menomonie, WI - Respite to take place in the providers home/community

Schedule: 4 hours/week & 4 overnights/month. Thursday (noon) - Sunday (by 6:00pm)

Things She Enjoys:
• Some of her favorite things: Animals (Cats & Huskies), Dinosaurs, coloring & drawing, her stuffed animals, candy (limited treat)
• Tv/movies/characters: Giganotosaurus, Crudes, Viva the Vet, and Paw Patrol
• Community activities/locations: Going to the playground, Kaleidoscope Center, library, garage sales, races (tractor pulls, car races, etc. - with proper hearing protection), riding her bike (again with protection/pads)

Key Responsibilities:
• Foster an open and communicative relationship to build trust and help her feel comfortable.
• Help her stay busy and engaged with activities to maintain an active lifestyle

Ideal Candidate:
• A kind, patient, and energetic individual who can offer a safe and fun environment
• Open to regular communication with the family and adaptable to a changing schedule.
• Experience with Autism is helpful but not required

Personal Cares:
• Hourly restroom reminders & Diapering assistance

Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation - this child will need to be picked up & dropped off at their home in Menomonie, WI
• Willing to undergo a caregiver background check upon hire
