This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are seeking an experienced Personal Supports Worker for a teenage girl in her home. The ideal candidate will have a passion for caring for people with special needs and be dedicated to ensuring her safety and well-being. Punctuality and reliability are important qualities to have for this position.

This girl’s interests include pop music, crafts, animals, shopping, and being outdoors. If you are interested in spending time with a wonderful girl and having fun, please apply today!

Pay: $20.28 per hour
Location: New Berlin, WI

Schedule:

• 12 to 15 hours per week (3 hours minimum per shift)

• Afterschool-early evenings (Monday through Thursday 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm)

• Potential to increase hours

Skills:

• Caregiving

• Experience working with special needs clients/autism

• Experience working with non-verbal communication

Tasks:

• Provide companionship and supervision

• Assist with ADLS: bathing, dressing, feeding/meal prep, toileting, mobility & transfers as needed

• Engage in meaningful activities with the client's interests in mind.

Qualifications:

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Age 18 or older at the start of employment.

• Have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance

• Prior experience working with special needs/autism -nonverbal

• Must pass a caregiver background check

• Must be ok with client's service dog

• Family prefers FEMALE provider
