This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable individual to provide care for an Autistic male youth in his home in Eau Claire. The Youth Respite Provider will offer 1:1 support, ensuring safety, engagement, and well-being through age-appropriate activities.

Wage: $17.66/hour

Schedule: 40 Hours/Month + Opportunity for 3 day rates at $256/day

*Flexibly scheduled in advance with managing party*

Location: Care provided in the child's home, with limited outings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct 1:1 support to a non-verbal youth with Autism
  • Plan and facilitate activities for social, emotional, and physical development
  • Assist with daily living tasks (e.g., bathing, dressing, feeding)
  • Ensure safety and supervise within the home environment
  • Communicate with parents/guardians about progress and updates

Qualifications:

  • Experience with children with Autism preferred
  • Driver’s license and reliable vehicle preferred
  • Must pass a caregiver/criminal background check
