Respite Provider
Description & Requirements
Are you a compassionate Respite Worker who has a valid DL, reliable transportation and previous experience working with child with Down Syndrome and Hearing Loss? Then this is the position for you!
Seeking a respite provider to provide respite services for a fun 6-year-old boy in his home and/or out in the community!
This little boy loves toy trucks, being outdoors, going to parks, drawing, reading books, and learning activities- such as ABC and 123.
WAGE:
· $14.13/Hour
· $207.45/Day (shift over 8 hours)
SCHEDULE:
· 12 Hours per month
· 2 Days per month
· Flexible Schedule
· Afternoon and Evenings hours.
· Occasional Weekends.
JOB DUTIES
· Supervision
· Active attentiveness
· Toileting Assistance
· Feeding/ Eating Assistance
· Meal Preparation
· Communicating with Sign Language and/or ACC Device
· Community Outgoing

JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Authorized to work in the U.S.
· Criminal/Caregiver background check.
· Compassionate individual with caregiving experience preferred.
· Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required.
· First Aid and CPR Certification preferred.
· Experience working with children with Down Syndrome and development disabilities.
