This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Support an active, energetic child while making a meaningful impact.

We are looking for a reliable, caring, and energetic Respite Provider to spend time with a lively young boy who thrives on outdoor play, movement, and engaging activities. If you enjoy being active, helping children succeed, and creating positive experiences, this role may be a great fit.
 
Position Overview
The Respite Provider will support both the child and his mother by assisting with daily routines, personal care, and safe, structured play. The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, and able to balance compassion with clear, calm guidance.

This child enjoys:
Swinging at local parks
Swimming and water play
Playing catch
Any activity involving a ball
Being active and outdoors
 
Schedule & Compensation
Pay Rate: $15–$18 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday afternoons, with occasional weekend hours
Hours: Minimum of 10 hours per week
 
Primary Responsibilities
Personal Care: Assist with toileting, bathing, and changing
Family Support: Assist Mom with daily routines as needed
Meal Assistance: Help with simple meal preparation and feeding
Safety & Supervision: Provide attentive, positive, and patient engagement
Active Play: Participate in outdoor activities, games, and movement-based play
 
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
Enjoys outdoor recreation and active play
Experience with children, especially those with behavioral needs, is helpful (but not required)
Dependable, patient, and able to create a positive environment
Must be 18 years or older
Must pass a caregiver background check
Valid driver’s license
Reliable vehicle suitable for transporting the child
Active auto insurance
