JOB SUMMARY

The Program Director is responsible for oversight and management of the Consumer Direct Attendant Support Services  (CDASS) program and the In-Home Supports Services (IHSS) programs for Members/ARs, Case Managers, FMSs, IHSS Agencies, Department staff, and overall community advocates and stakeholders.  This position is responsible for managing the general office affairs, managing the Consumer Direct teams, maintaining continuous service quality, monitoring compliance with regulations, and maintaining/improving the programs.

JOB DUTIES 

  • Serving as CDCO’s primary point of contact for all contracted partners
  • Ensuring the completion of all work in accordance with the contract requirements. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all work.
  • Managing operations, including collaborating with State Contractor Subcontractors, to ensure that contract requirements are met.
  • Overseeing all other Key Personnel and Other Personnel and ensuring proper staffing levels throughout the term of the Contract.
  • Notifying the Department of any Incidents immediately upon discovery.
  • Facilitating Incident remediation as required in the CDCO contract’s Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement.
  • Addressing customer service issues that are unresolved by other Key Personnel or Other Personnel.
  • Serving, with the Financial Management Services (FMS) and Case Management Agency (CMA) Liaison, as the primary representative of Contractor at stakeholder meetings.
  • Contribute towards the achievement of the company’s strategic anchors and thematic Goals.
  • Review financial statements, census reports, utilization reports and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement.
  • Periodic travel within the assigned geographic area.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 
 
QUALIFICATIONS 

  • A bachelor’s degree, or higher, from an accredited college or university.
  • At least four years of experience in organizational leadership position or combined experience if from multiple positions.
  • At least four years of experience with Consumer Direction.
  • Experience working with people with disabilities, the elderly, and low-income individuals.

  

The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds.
