This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Structured Youth Respite Provider
We are seeking a caring, understanding provider who can offer consistent support, maintain strong boundaries, and has a passion for helping children thrive. The ideal candidate is dependable, calm, and confident in navigating behavioral needs while building a warm, supportive relationship with the child.

The child benefits from strong boundaries, clear expectations, and a highly structured daily routine, which helps reduce behavioral challenges. They are an early riser and require close, proactive supervision for safety.
 
Location: Pick Up in Eau Claire, WI - Care to take place in provider's home
Starting Wage: $17.66/hour and $256/"Overnight" (anything over 8 hours of care)
Schedule: Planned in advance with the parent based on mutual availability
 
Key Responsibilities
Provide engaged, consistent supervision with a strong safety focus due to behavioral needs.
Maintain a structured, routine-based environment that supports positive behaviors.
Offer kind, patient, and understanding support in moments of dysregulation.
Assist with toileting needs, following any specific parent guidance.
Ensure the child has an appropriate independent sleeping space during overnights.
Use of cameras in common/sleeping areas is suggested for safety.
Communicate effectively and promptly with the parent regarding schedules, behaviors, progress, and any concerns.
Provide care within the provider’s home in a stimulating, safe, and child-friendly environment.
Plan engaging activities matching the child’s interests and developmental needs.

Matchbox cars
Legos
Coloring
Reading
Wagon hauling

Requirements
Minimum 1 year of childcare experience.
Experience or strong willingness to work with children with high behavioral needs and special needs.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass a caregiver and criminal background check.
Reliable transportation.
Strong communication skills, patience, and a nurturing approach.
Commitment to maintaining clear boundaries, structure, and routine.
