This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

We’re looking for a nurturing and reliable caregiver to support a set of brothers who both have unique emotional and developmental needs.
 
This is a weekday evening role, perfect for someone who enjoys creating calm, structured routines and helping children end their day with confidence. The ideal candidate will be someone with a gentle presence who can provide reassurance and consistency.
 
You’ll be part of a caring team that values patience, positivity, and genuine connection. If you’re someone who finds joy in helping children grow and feel safe, we’d love to meet you!
 
SHIFTS:
o 25 hours per week
o On-call and flexible scheduling options – you can collaborate with the family to create a schedule that works for everyone then must be reliable and stick to that schedule that was built.
o Evening hours or weekend coverage is a priority, but flexibility is appreciated for additional support as opportunities arise
 
WAGE:
o Brother #1 (alone): $17.66 per hour
o Brother #2 (alone): $14.13 per hour
o Both boys together: $17.70 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an In-Home Respite Provider, you’ll play an important role in the child’s life and overall comfort. Responsibilities include:
o Providing calm, compassionate care and supervision during the evening routine
o Assisting with meal times and giving verbal prompts for hydration
o Supporting with toileting and diaper changes in a patient, respectful way
o Handling meltdowns or emotional moments with empathy and clear, consistent boundaries
o Engaging in fun activities the child enjoys — such as singing favorite songs (Plankton/Roblox soundtracks), light play, or brief Roblox sessions as part of the morning routine
o Creating a safe, structured, and positive environment where the child can feel supported and ready for the day ahead
 
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
You’ll be a great fit for this role if you are:
o Patient, calm, and grounded - able to handle emotional or sensory challenges with empathy
o Reliable and consistent - families depend on you to show up and provide stability
o Playful and kind - able to connect through humor, music, or shared interests
o A good communicator - comfortable following directions and maintaining open communication with the family

Experience in caregiving, child care, special education, or related fields is a plus, but training and guidance will be provided for the right person with the right heart.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
o Valid Driver’s License
o Reliable Transportation
o Must pass a background check
