JOB SUMMARY
The Front Desk Associate holds the responsibility for the effective operation of building access and overflow department help. This includes internal customer service, vendor access, ID badge production and records, conference room scheduling, general office tasks, cross-training to help other departments with overflow work, and other duties as needed and assigned.
JOB DUTIES
- Support day-to-day operations for the front of the building
- Facilitation of building access for vendors and assistance for staff
- Manage incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Identify and report potential security concerns
- Operate and maintain employee badge system and records
- Maintaining conference room schedule as needed
- Cross-train to assist other departments with ongoing or special projects (mass mailings, UTEX, QI spreadsheets, or others as needed)
- Promote cohesiveness in the office environment
- Support day-to-day operations
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients
- Data entry and other clerical tasks
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Knowledge and experience working in a dynamic office environment are helpful
- Microsoft Office experience preferred
- Be able to successfully pass a background screening
The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds.
