JOB SUMMARY
Authorizations associates are responsible for entering all client demographic packets and service authorizations to enable successful time entry and billing processes. They review the packets and authorizations for accuracy, identify any problems, and then troubleshoot any issues with our local offices. Additionally, they prepare basic reports that flag errors which would impact shift entry, payroll, and billing processes and work to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
JOB DUTIES
- Process specifically assigned client packets, authorizations, and eligibility checks timely and accurately
- Prepare and work reports to meet all deadlines for shift entry, payroll, and billing
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures
- Demonstrate dependability

QUALIFICATIONS
- Microsoft Office experience preferred
- High School Diploma preferred
- Prior office experience preferred
- Be able to successfully pass a background screening
- Employees must provide their own reliable internet if working a remote/hybrid position
The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone, and other office equipment as needed to perform duties.
