JOB SUMMARY
The Communications Coordinator must have superior written and oral communication skills and be knowledgeable about standard and innovative communication strategies and implementation. In addition, they will work closely with the Communications Manager to develop and distribute accurate communications to our diverse population of caregivers and clients, and to our nationwide team of administrative personnel.
JOB DUTIES
- Work with departments across the company, to create and distribute digital messaging externally and internally
- Write and edit copy for internal and external communications including direct mail, email, websites, and SharePoint
- Collaborate with data and analytics teams to source distribution lists for communications
- Support the business development team with graphic content creation for communications
- Monitor analytics and create reports detailing the successes and failures of communications campaigns and strategies
- Contribute to the development and implementation of ongoing communications strategies
- Stay up to date on industry trends and make recommendations for adjustments to communications strategies and practices
- Coordinate and assemble large-scale physical mailings
- Provide support for the business development team for special projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or commensurate degree
- Exceptional writing and interpersonal communication skills
- Superior time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity working with mailing houses and coordinating complex mailings
- Ability to physically assist with in-house mailings
- Experience maintaining SharePoint communication sites
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel), Adobe Creative Cloud, Constant Contact, and WordPress
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- Video production experience
- Driver’s license required
