This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Two full-time Direct Support Professional positions in a family home, providing care for the family. Positions require a vehicle, insurance, and a valid driver's license to assist with errands and appointments.

SHIFTS:

• First and Second Shift – 40 hours a week

COMPENSATION:

• $16.32-$19.00 an hour based on experience

• Mileage reimbursement for errands and appointment transportation

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Autism, Physical Limitations and Mental Health

• Preference for older, experienced caregivers who are reliable and dependable

• No cell phone usage except for emergencies while working

• Both shifts require caregivers to stay awake on shift

• Experience in being patient and respectful of boundaries while working with clients

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting in helping man with Autism do all daily personal care tasks (showering, toileting, etc)

• Helping to ensure man with Autism is clean after toileting

• Assisting in teaching daily life skills to man with Autism

• Assist with self-regulation techniques for man with Autism

• Verbal motivation for adult male in home with daily life skills

• Helping Mother w/physical limitations and family with laundry

• Other duties include: meal prep/cooking, housekeeping, dishes, grocery shopping and errands

*Must be authorized to work in the U.S and pass a criminal background check

*Position requires driver's license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle for errands

*Working with individuals on the Spectrum and Adult Mental health required
