This is a heartwarming opportunity for compassionate providers who love making a difference! We work with members throughout Wisconsin to find providers that fit each of their needs. Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. This helps them to stay in their own homes as long as possible.

Two Full Time Direct Support Professional positions in a family home, providing care for the family. Positions require vehicle, insurance and valid drivers license to assist with errands and appointments.

SHIFTS:

• First and Second Shift – 40 hours a week

COMPENSATION:

• $16.32-$19.00 an hour based on experience

• Mileage reimbursement for errands and appointment transportation

• **POSITION REQUIRES Reliable vehicle, insurance and Valid Drivers license

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Needing a Care team with Autism experience

• Experience working with physical and Mental Health disabilities

• Preference for older experienced caregivers who are reliable and dependable

• No cell phone usage except for emergencies while working

• Both shifts require caregivers to stay awake on shift

• Experience in being patient and respectful of boundaries while working with disabled clients

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting in helping Autistic male do all daily personal care tasks (showering, toileting, etc)

• Helping to ensure Autistic male is clean after toileting

• Assisting in teaching daily life skills to adult male Autistic client

• Assist with self-regulation techniques for Autistic male client

• Verbal motivation for adult male in home with daily life skills

• Helping disabled mother and family with laundry, putting laundry away, meal prep/cooking, housekeeping, dishes, grocery shopping and errands

*Must be authorized to work in the U.S and pass a criminal background check

*Position requires driver's license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle for errands

*Working with individuals on the Spectrum and Adult Mental health required
